When I was doing research for my master’s thesis, I traveled to countries like Cambodia and Mozambique to see how children learned around the world. It was in Malawi, an African nation devastated by AIDS, when I had a realization: I needed to do something. 

As the co-founder of a nonprofit that helps provide quality education and resources to children, families, and communities across the globe, sharing what I’ve learned from the people I’ve met — sharing their stories — has become one of the most important things I’ve ever done with my life. 

Not only am I passionate about non-profit development and children’s education and curriculum development in impoverished areas, I also have over a decade of experience in women-led entrepreneurship. I’ve owned and operated several successful small businesses and am currently the owner of the only female led country music publishing house.
